We will explore medical benefits, service connected disability compensation and non-service connected pension benefits. Our program will emphasize the non-service connected pension program, which is the primary VA program that provides financial assistance for long-term care related expenses, including in-home care, assisted living and, in some cases, nursing home.

We will discuss in detail the “Stretch IRA” including the changes implemented by the IRS with the final regulations in 2002.
